#BridalFashionWeek2014: Modest Wedding Gowns from MARCHESA!

The newest crops of modest wedding gowns and dresses is in, and they are nothing short of jaw-dropping.  First up in the list of breathtaking modest beauty is Marchesa. Rare is a time when Marchesa does not hit the nail on the head with their designs, but some of these gowns are so stellar and perfect it's hard to picture that they would be something that you and I can wear just in the same way as everyone else.

Sit back, relax and gape at the beauty of these fascinatingly beautiful and intricate dresses from Marchesa. Best of all, these are the gown you wouldn't have to build up. God bless.

#RoyalTour: Princesss Trumps Prince

I know I often allude to the fact that Kate is perfection, and while no one in this world is actually perfect, Kate sorta-kinda is. The woman cannot take a bad picture! And even though she has worn this particular outfit THREE times now (first at the London Olympics in 2012 and then to a Volleyball match at Olympic park this past October--see below), and she has worn these jeans on her Canadian tour as well (also below), Kate still makes the simplicity of a nautical inspired outfit seem fresh and fun.

Proof: even in a wind gust rain boat race the Duchess of Cambridge still managed to keep composure and class while looking beautiful and like a pro. She even beat William three times! We're not shocked by this, although one of these days, Wills is going to have to win.

Gosh darn if this looks like a baseball card worthy photo.

#RoyalTour: The Denim Duchess and Her Blue Jeans

In more blue news, our favorite royal couple was seen dressing down for a series of New Zealand engagements and Kate was decked our in denim and Zara. That blazer, which the Princess has worn previously, is the perfect casual Friday ensemble for her tour today, and Will was similarly dressed down for their day of excursions.

PS that is the most beautiful profile shot of a human being ever taken. And how come when I walk in the rain I don't look like that? Siiiiggghhh.

Todays post is brought to you by the word wedges. Drool now.

#RoyalTour: Black Beauty Duchess

Oh. Em. Geeeeeee.

In another display of complete modesty and total beauty, Kate Middleton showed up in a stellar Jenny Packham dress to a state reception at Government House in New Zealand. This is the LBD to end all LBDs. It's got the sleeve length, the hem length and all the rest of the marking of a true modest outfit, truly befitting a future Queen.

Take note world, this is how a woman dresses.

#RoyalTour: The Alexander McQueen Blues

Kate and Will (sans George) participated in a wreath laying ceremony in New Zealand tomorrow morning (because it's already tomorrow there) and Kate was decked out in an Alexander McQueen coat. Her hair was swept back in all its brunette perfection and she basically looked amazeballs, as always. Do you expect anything less?

Let's discuss those navy heels though, shall we. A decent and classy pair of navy heels are nearly impossible to find and those are quite possibly the best pair I have ever seen. #Jealous.

#RoyalTour: The Royal Playdate in Tory Burch

In a complete departure from all things Kate, the Duchess decided to go with American designer Tory Burch (you know her!) for the royal playdate of the century. Wearing the Paulina dress from Tory's 2014 Resort line, Kate looked positively magnificent. Usually the Princess is keen on choosing British designers to promote the culture and economy of her homeland, but I guess there is a soft spot in her heart for the good old US of A. There is a chance Tory Burch is fist pumping in fits of excitement right now (or whatever Tory Burch does when she gets excited) because this dress will be sold out any minute now (although it's practically off the shelves already), and this is the equivalent of God wearing your clothing.

Prince George looked positively adorable in his Rachel Riley outfit. Oh forget this-- I'm not commenting on the outfit of a kid who can't even walk yet. But man is he cute.

#RoyalTour: Welcome Down Under, Kate!

As a person who has been to both Australia and New Zealand, I feel like I really can relate to the Prince and Princess on this journey they're about to embark on over the next three weeks. Lies; they are about to be treated like the elite human beings that they are and I distinctly remember breaking one of my braces while there, so I am pretty sure that they win at the Aussie/NZ excursion.

Kate, her hubby Will, and gorgeous cherub of a child George (all the Georges in the world should thank Will and Kate for bringing that name back in vogue again) all landed in Wellington, New Zealand (been there!) yesterday for the start of their three week tour in the Southern Hemisphere of Awesomeness.

Her outfit is courtesy of Catherine Walker and her diamond encrusted broach is came from her grandmother, the Queen. And let me tell you, no one pulls off a black heel like Miss Middleton. FInd me a young woman who can pull off such a sophisticated outfit and coat better than Kate Middleton. She's the only thirty-something in the world who can make a mature coat-dress look contemporary. Kitty Kat was clearly harkening back to a time where her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana wore red as well. Living legends, people.

More than anything I will treasure the pictures of the Duchess with a bare-assed, tattooed man and her rubbing noses with the old guy. Somethings in life are simply priceless.

Viva la Kate!

#GoldenGlobes2017: Best and Worst Dressed

It's that time of year again, the best time of the year where I get on the trusty [read: not-so-trusty-six-year-old] macbook to give you...
